DC Synchrolight Available in Standard & Plus Illumination
The DRS 2020 DCS, DRS 1622 DCS and DRS 1220 DCS models present new, significant and unique features:
- An innovative digital camera with a 16K image sensor and optical resolution that is flexibly expandable from 200 to 1600 PPI.
- The improved DC Synchrolight illumination system is based on the latest LED technology and offers higher light output and color rendering. The patented METIS DC Synchrolight allows dynamic and automatic control of 4 light sources (standard) or 8 light sources (plus).
- With METIS DC Synchrolight, you can manually adjust the control of the light in the scanning area to optimize the digitization results with respect to your application.
Photometric Stereo 3D
METIS scanners are distinguished by their revolutionary and unique ability to calculate 3D data directly from 2D color data. This exclusive feature, combined with the ability to generate a gloss level map, underscores METIS as the world's most innovative and technologically advanced scanner manufacturer.
Perfect Embossed in Register (EIR)
METIS scanners are the only devices on the market that can deliver 3D data specifically suited for demanding decor applications. They achieve perfect in-register results with respect to the captured 2D color information.
By generating high-resolution 3D data directly from 2D color information, METIS ensures that all colors and textures of a captured object match perfectly.
