Key Topics & Sales Structure

CGS ORIS strengthens focus on digital print and packaging

Hainburg, Germany (February 07, 2020) – The new year began at color management specialist CGS ORIS with strengthening of two key topics and, accordingly, re-structuring of the Sales Department into these sectors. As a result, two employees hold new positions.

CGS ORIS digital print packaging symbolicEffective immediately, Andrew McIntyre moves into the new role of Sales Director Digital Print on the ORIS products designed for that market. “Digital printing is an extremely promising and incredibly diverse field”, shares McIntyre. But this is precisely where the customer often faces great challenges. In the high-speed inkjet area, for example, reliable repeatability of colors, shortening of drying times or ink-saving potential are common concerns and we have ideal solutions in our portfolio.

For example, they make it possible to adapt the results of very different printing presses to one another - regardless of whether you are printing exhibits displays, signs & banners or flyers - or to be able to drive printers at the maximum possible speeds while, at the same time, ensuring the best possible quality.”

McIntyre has been with CGS ORIS for almost ten years, responsible for sales in Western and Eastern Europe.
Heiner Müller has also been part of the CGS team for many years. He was previously responsible for the sales of the ORIS Flex Pack system, which is known as a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for the production of packaging proofs and mockups. In the new role of Sales Director Packaging, he will dedicate himself to the entire ORIS portfolio in the packaging industry.

“We started to work right at the beginning with key customers in the packaging industry and to develop software solutions and materials that support them in daily production and increase their efficiency. Among them is our well-known ORIS Flex Pack system. And, in addition to the large ORIS Media portfolio for creating packaging proofs and samples, ORIS X Gamut and our CxF Tools are also key products that create substantial added value for the players in the packaging market”, says Heiner Müller.

Added value for customers

CGS ORIS has set itself the goal of equipping each of its products with precisely tailored functions for each area of application. Besides that, they offer numerous additional features that were created through many years of experience and precise development work.

“We strive to find the best solution for each of our customers - whether small or large print shop, brand owner, design or mock-up agency. As a result, contact with our customers and supporting them are very important to us. This enables us to analyze their needs precisely and to recommend the right software package to meet their requirements.” says Christoph Thommessen, Managing Director of global sales.

“The added value for the customer is usually much greater than he initially expected - this goes far beyond mastering his challenge and the primarily planned use for which he was looking for a comfortable solution.

And that is precisely what is of central importance to us: Based on our many years of experience, putting together solutions that are optimally tailored to customers, their needs and existing workflows and thus help them to stand out from their competitors”, adds Thommessen.
