ORIS Works 4.8.14 - Hotfixes ____________________________ Installation Certain programs may block the installation process. The process pauses after extracting the installation files. In this case proceed as follows: 1. Exit antivirus program. 2. If the current version of Adobe Creative Cloud is installed, exit the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. Do this by selecting 'File -> Exit Creative Cloud', then click 'Quit' to stop all background processes. 3. Start Windows Task Manager and click the 'Details' tab. Right-click 'Setup.exe' and select 'Analyze wait chain'. The process listed under 'Setup.exe' is blocking the installation. Select and end it. Version 4.8.14.3 #66202 - PDF input: Fixed a PDF input error with files containing erroneous Flate compressed data. The parameter 'Input properties -> PS/PDF/DCS input parameters -> Correct -> Ignore checksum mismatch of Flat compressed data' should be switched off again if you have enabled it as a workaround. Version 4.8.14.2 #65283 - 'Move' hotfolders caused the program to crash under certain conditions. This has been fixed. Version 4.8.14.1 #65179 - PDF output: Fonts were missing in some rare cases if Distiller was used. This has been fixed.
