Our new Sales Manager for the DACH Region and Spain

Leonard’s career has taken him from global mechanical engineering to the corrugated industry, and that journey has now led him to CGS ORIS as one of our Sales Managers for Europe.

To get to know him better, we talked with Leonard about his path, his approach to partnership, and the opportunities he sees in our markets.

Leonard, tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to CGS ORIS.

I come from the international mechanical engineering sector, with a focus on the corrugated industry. What drew me to CGS ORIS is that here it’s not just about selling products—it’s about building real partnerships, both with customers and with our resellers.

What excites you most about your new role in Sales?

For me, sales is all about teamwork. What excites me most is the opportunity to create success together—internally with colleagues and externally with our reseller network. Resellers are an essential part of our strength, and I look forward to working closely with them.

What are your goals for your first months at CGS ORIS?

In my first months, I want to listen, strengthen relationships, and build trust with both customers and partners. My main responsibility is the DACH region and Spain, and the overall goal is to find ways to sustainably grow our market share together.

Which industries or customer segments are you focusing on?

My main focus is on packaging, especially folding carton, metal printing, flexible packaging, and corrugated board as a promising growth segment. At the same time, the industry is moving toward hybrid production models that combine analog and digital technologies. I believe this shift will be a key driver of growth, and I see significant opportunities for CGS ORIS in this area.

What’s your first impression of the CGS ORIS team and culture?

The culture here is built on trust and collaboration. You can feel right away that it’s not about individual egos, but about achieving results together. That spirit aligns closely with my own values.

What’s your personal approach to building customer relationships?

I see relationships as real partnerships at eye level. Honesty, respect, and reliability are non-negotiable for me. My goal is that both our customers and our resellers feel like they’re part of one team.

What does success look like for you in this role?

For me, success means that customers, resellers, and we at CGS ORIS all benefit together. When we create solutions that solve real problems while ensuring fair collaboration, that’s what I would call success.
